Kenny, you’re a doll

So I’m currently in my free period, I just ate a turkey hero with tomato soup with green tea to wash it all down. That probably sounds somewhat disgusting, but rest assure,  it was quite delicious. Things have been busy, as always, and I’m sorry to say that I’m such a bad blogger…it’s not that I mean to but, here, let me just rant and you can get the picture.

It’s tech week, and anyone in theater, knows that term is a terrible horrible ill-mannered term because it means that we, especially I, don’t go home ’til very late because we spend most of our time rehearsing for the show we have to perform. In this case it’s the “Pajama Game” and we’re so behind that within this week we have to perfect every line, staging, prop and setting in order to get things right. Oh, also the music and dancing too. Gag. So I’ve been getting home late, and usually exhausted because it’s an extra five to eight hours in which I have to be patient with other people.

Yesterday was the worst, I snapped on the musical director, but I felt justified as he insisted that I was talking when I was actually telling people to shut up when they’re in the wings. We bucked heads. And lately I’ve been feeling a little under the weather, which could mean I’m getting sick, which god forbid not now.  That would be horrible as I’m the narrator of the show, yes, incredibly terrible if that happened.

Then there’s the fact that I have to keep up to date in school and do my work, which is a pain in itself because it feels overwhelming and I tend not to do the work that I feel confident in, ie. Chemsitry and English. But we’re learning new materials and reading new books so I have to do the work now, my grade depends on it >.<

Then trying to save my sanity by spending time with friends, which normally involves going to parties and getting smashed or playing video games at jonny rawls or seeing a movie (which I still haven’t done, damn it). The most recent act of fun I’ve had was going to jonny’s and lighting up before I made cupcakes and a giant cake for everyone there. That was awesome.

Though I feel like I have to abide to the pretense set..

This period, Kenny and I talked a bit via AIM and it was relaxing. I’m relieved to hear that his medication is set and he isn’t getting sick from it, at least not as often as he was. Poor thing, Kenny my dear I heart you so, treat your boy right and vice versa <3  In any case, he’s irked that I’m single and not frolicing around with people (how cute…sounds like me when I talk to Barrias). So he decided that we should go onto XY, and we did, and he started browsing with me and we traded thoughts. He’s reached a conclusion about Long Island, the boys suck. And on his conclusion about the city, the boys are okay. But we both agreed that Florida boys are so much nicer, and it makes me sad. I can’t sit on the morning ledge outside and watch the eye candy walk by me anymore, ah the times of Freshman year <3 How I miss thee so.

This entry is for you my Floridians <3 Especially Ashley, Rachel and Angela (Yes, Kenny, you too).

I don’t want to hear it; try Indianapolis for a week, and you’d be back to Long Island before you can say “soybeans and corn and meth, oh my!.”
